Sea kelp is superior in hydration and anti-aging and is rich in vitamins and trace minerals. It is also known for its ability to firm the skin, heal, exfoliate, and strengthen. Sea kelp can also draw out toxins from the skin, excess fluid, and remove dead skin cells leaving skin smooth and hydrated. Spirulina contains four times the antioxidants found in blueberries and it is a powerhouse of vitamins and minerals! We’ve added aloe vera for its soothing properties and dichotomous earth which is made up of tiny fossilized water plants that are ground into a fine white powder and is almost entirely made up of silica, which when deficient, can cause the breakdown of collagen in our skin. French green and bentonite clays gently draw out impurities leaving your skin feeling smooth, refreshed and recharged.

*This mask can temporarily cause redness from clay stimulating blood vessels to the surface of the skin. Use at night, and as with all clay masks, follow with serum and moisturizer while skin is still damp.

1-2 times per week, mix 1 teaspoon of dry product with 1 teaspoon hydrosol/water and stir with a wooden or plastic utensil (never metal!) until a paste forms and allow the powder to hydrate for 5 minutes before application. Spread over face and neck using a brush or your fingers and allow to dry. Rinse with water and immediately follow with serum and/or moisturizer.

*Bentonite is very unusual in the fact that once it becomes hydrated, the electrical and molecular components of the clay rapidly change and produce an electrical charge. When mixed with liquid, it rapidly swells open like a highly porous sponge. Skin toxins are drawn into the sponge through electrical attraction and once there, they are bound. When the clay is dry and rinsed away, the toxins are washed away with it!

Ascophyllum nodosum (seaweed) extract, laminaria digitata (kombu) extract, spirulina platensis, kaolin clay, dichotomous earth, bentonite clay, montmorillonite (french green) clay, aloe vera extract (aloe barbadensis)
